Welcome to Moon Cycles and Mushrooms – an immersive, three-part series designed to connect you with the wisdom of the lunar cycles and the healing power of mushrooms. Our first in-person gathering is all about honoring the sacred rhythms of your body, while learning how to integrate our moon cycles into your daily life. 18+ for those under 18 must attend with a parent or gaurdian.

What to Expect from the First Session:
First 90 minutes:

We’ll start with introductions, setting the tone for our series, and sharing the essence of what’s to come in future gatherings.
🍵 Tea Blends Introduction
Experience the magic of specially crafted herbal tea blends, designed to support your cycle, balance, and healing.
✍️ Writing Prompt
A reflective, 5-6 minute journaling exercise to tune into your personal journey with your cycle and how you culture, lineage, society, and religion has influenced you.
💬 Telling Our First Period Stories
While sipping tea, we’ll create a safe, supportive space for each participant to share their first menstruation story—an intimate and empowering part of this journey.
🌑 Healing Meditation (10 minutes)
Guided meditation focused on honoring the energy of menstruation and creating a deep sense of peace and connection with our bodies.
Last Hour:
🩸 Menstrual Products & Safety
Learn about the variety of menstrual products available, the benefits of eco-friendly options, and how to choose products that support your health and well-being.
📜 Historical Context
We will explore the historical, cultural, and religious interpretations of menstruation, examining how different societies have understood and treated the menstrual cycle through time.
📅 Create Your Moontime Journal & Calendar
Together, we will create personalized Moontime Journals, complete with lunar cycle charts. These will serve as powerful tools for tracking not just your cycle, but also your emotional and physical shifts. You’ll learn how to track for micro-dosing, menopause, or for those without a uterus—customized to your unique needs.
Closing Circle:
We’ll close with a grounding exercise and a final 10-minute reflection to integrate all that we've shared and experienced.
What to Do Between Sessions:
We’ll leave you with intentional practices to continue your journey. You’ll be encouraged to track your cycle, reflect in your journal, and observe how the moon influences your energy, emotions, and physical sensations.

This session will focus of healing from: womb traumas, fibroids, ancestral imprints, miscarriages and abortions… A more detailed outline will be available soon.
What to Expect from the Third Session
This session will focus on sexual and reproductive health, relationships, financial health and connection to the womb, Moon Cycles, and incorporating mushroom technology for flow and currency… A more detailed outline will be available soon.
About the Facilitators.:
Shan Vicius: Mrs. Vicius is an advocate and mother, and the founding member of Decrim Nature Hazel Park. She has been advocating for the decriminalization of entheogenic plants for the last six years. She is a member of the Detroit Psychedelic Society and continues to provide educational classes regarding cultivating and integration in the Detroit area to this day.
Lucia Pavone:
Lucia is in the final semester of her Masters in Women, Gender, Spirituality, and Social Justice program at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her academic pursuits are complemented by her professional expertise as a Somatic Sex Educator, Sacred Dao Pelvic Practitioner and Sexological Bodyworker as well as a financial advisor and liscenced insurance provider. In these roles, Lucia is dedicated to facilitating individual’s journeys toward embodying sensual self-expression. She creates a consensual space for her clients to be able to shed the shackles of shame and ancestral traumas, while also fostering the development of fulfilling relationships and sex life worth bragging about.
Lucia’s dedication to the pursuit of pleasure and healing is exemplified by her groundbreaking research in the field of Human Sexuality. Lucia's pioneering research on Extended Orgasm, has led to significant discoveries regarding spirituality, consciousness, and healing. Furthermore, her passion for psychedelics has driven the innovative integration of psilocybin mushrooms into her practice of Somatic Sex Education. She has shared her insights at numerous professional conferences, focusing on the use of psilocybin for sexual trauma healing.
